Tradecraft is a product design apprenticeship focused around working with local startups. Project scope ranges from persona development, user research, user stories, task flows, wireframes, lo and hi-fi mocks to interactive prototypes. 

  • Designed an e-commerce Instagram lookbook for Pixlee (www.pixlee.com)
  • Optimized the order flow for a DNA screening kit for Counsyl (www.counsyl.com)
  • Architected a payment portal for specialized government payments for Sipree (www.sipree.com)
  • Redesigned an on-demand booking experience for Cleanify (www.cleanify.com)

FLIPBOARD - growth Marketing (Jun - Sept '12; Jun '13 - Mar '15) 

I managed the notification and email products at Flipboard, from internal tool development to content strategy.

  • Defined product roadmap for internal email and notification tools
  • Worked closely with engineer to design and develop these tools with a focus on usability/deliverability
  • Performed cohort analysis (SQL) to understand and define user behaviors
  • Ran product A/B tests (4-6 tests/month) targeting user engagement and retention
  • Developed and designed new life-cycle marketing programs to engage new and churned user base (send to 100+ users/month)
  • Managed international (China, Brazil, LatAm) content team for email/notification programming
  • Presented regular data reports on user behavior and marketing campaign performance

    Auditioned and produced annual performance for students aged 14-18; choreographed contemporary and ballet pieces; deisgned costumes, sets, and lighting for performance.

    GroupU Co-founder

    GroupU is a web application that came out of ENGR145 at Stanford. Generated wireframes and conducted user-testing for application; formed partnerships with campus organizations; surveyed and interviewed over 150 students and alumni; created and presented all marketing materials and pitch deck to VCs and incubators.
